Essie #liquorice and #trophywife

The trophy wife shade is actually the best shade of blue green in the world. It never makes up its mind, so one moment you look at your hand and you’re like “oo! What a pretty shade of green upon my fingers!” But give it a few seconds in the sunlight and then you’re like “aa! What a pretty shade of blue upon my fingers!” So it’s just the best of both shades. 

I wanted to do that color with a stripe of Essie’s Liquorice, but I felt it was a bit too bright considering that I’m going to be starting work soon. Eh.

My latest nail art attempt actually turned out better than I expected! I finally found a shade of neony hot pink that I like, but you guys already know that I can never wear just one color on my nails (zzzzzzz boring!) so I matched it with a subtle shimmering navy stripe down the middle. Then I felt it wasn’t looking summery enough, so I added silver metallic dots! I call this manicure “Crazy MetallicalNeon Ladybug”

This makes me laugh so hard. I just got SO inspired to do my nails after seeing these cute designs, but could everyone just take a second and realize how funny it would have been to watch someone filming this? : )
