This ‘Books Everyone Should Read’ infographic is quite lovely. I think I may print it, stick it on my wall and start ticking off the ones I have read.
Mr. Swenson from AP Lit did his job right. In fact, I can check off a whole bunch of these just from doing English classes at good ol’ Trabuco Hills High School, which is really exciting to me and kinda restores a bit of my faith in public education.

Wedge sneakers are my latest obsession. A lot of the pairs featured were less than 40 dollars (charlotte russe, forever 21, ASOS) but I can’t buy a pair when I already have flatform high tops. I feel like they’d be worn in really similar outfits. Sigh sigh. Well just because I can’t own a pair, doesn’t mean I can’t make up looks in my head that would work with them!

Sneakers are sporty, so why not play around with that idea and add a bit of athletic flair to your hidden wedge sneaker outfit? The baseball cap gets a stylish update with studs and leather material for a polished look. This season’s favorite color: oxblood, gets some playtime in a lacey croptop that works with the demure and ladylike pastel pink skater skirt.

A casual take on the sneaker wedge, running around has never been so easy or so comfortably cute at the same time. Leather leggings make for completely free movement and compliment the slouchy boho feel of a roomy cable knit sweater. The tote bag is a plain beige on purpose (to keep the attention on the awesomely colorful kicks) but playful details in the cat peeking over the edge and the whimsical necklaces are fun to throw in. Imagine this with a loose top-knot bun, or a side ponytail.

The two contrasting aspects of this outfit come together like halves of a whole! On one hand we have the loose fitting Y-back dress, ethereal and fairy-like. Pastel touches in the NastyGal satchel and the vintage inspired cat-eye sunglasses are the epitome of girly feminine charm. Yet the other half of the ensemble works in unison for an outfit that brings together the best of both worlds. The studded, masculine feel of the black high tops, and the structure of the denim vest add a twist to enjoy!

An introduction to the finer details of menswear! Really random since I’m not a guy, but I found this really interesting all the same.
