Outfit of the Day - August 8th (AKA I’ve Worn This Outfit Almost Every Day This Week and I’m Not Ashamed)
I don’t know if it’s because half of my clothes are already packed up, or if it’s because I’m just growing lazier and lazier as summer draws to an end, but I’m dead serious when I say that I’ve worn and reworn and reworn this outfit 6 out of the 9 times I hung out this week. Three separate graduation parties, lunches with friends, a shopping trip at South Coast Plaza and a picnic at the park. I wore this outfit. It’s just so simple and comfortable and easy to put on!
I’m not usually an outfit repeater, and when I do find myself wearing the same shirt or pants multiple times, I pride myself on thinking up new accessories or hairdos to add a little bit of flavor to them. This outfit is just my go to outfit though and I don’t think it needs any modification! If it’s not broke don’t fix it! Just wear it multiple times and hope no one calls you out on it : ) Pink sheer polka dotted blouse is from TJ Maxx and the denim shorts are Goodwill gems.
This is random, but remember this post about my grey flatform high-top sneakers from ASOS that I ordered? And my new obsession with flatforms? Well, those babies came in yesterday so I wore them with this outfit when I went to dinner at BJs with friends and I LOVED them.

Instant infatutaion! They made me realize how short I am though because even with them on, I could barely see over Emma’s head. Oh well.
Flatforms. New Obsession.
The ASOS DECO Flatform in three different colors. On sale for 34 dollars. I bought the grey ones online and I cannot wait for them to come in oh my goodness. You guys know that I don’t really wear heels that often because I like being comfortable. It’s a trade-off though because I love feeling tall. Flatforms are a godsend.
I would have loved to buy one of these patterned ones, but for 34 dollars, I want to buy a pair of shoes that I can wear on the daily if I want to without having to match the design to what I’m wearing. Plain old grey flatforms for me!

I had a pair of grey hightops I got from H&M on sale for 10 dollars that disappeared in the depths of the ASB room lost and found, and these will be their replacement! Three times more expensive, but also three times more high quality and three inches taller without three times the discomfort and soreness of wearing heels! I’m in love I’m in love and I don’t care who knows it!
