The Dark Knight Rises.

I’m going to try and keep this brief, which is tough considering that the movie of epic proportions was more than 2 hours long, so all you need to know is that I highly reccomend you go and see it.

Here’s some Joseph Gordon-Levitt to tempt you further:

You may be wondering what he means, but you’ll understand if you go see it : ) Just look at that smile. I’m seriously considering renaming my macbook Gordon instead of Garfield (after Andrew Garfield duh) but I think I’ll leave it as is for now.

All things serious though, I really did enjoy this movie for more than just JoGo’s acting as John Blake. Seeing all the characters from the last two movies was great, and I like how they tied up all those loose ends. There was a level of complexity that I enjoyed and the ending was really great. You’ll be surprised at how emotional you’ll get in the last 5 minutes. I teared up throughout the movie actually (but I’m always emotional at movies it’s one of those things).

The score to this movie was a SCORE! I have a thing for Hans Zimmer’s scores. They’re so beautifully dark and filled with intense strings and I love them.

Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle (they never actually called her Catwoman) didn’t suck as much as I thought it would. Nothing against Anne Hathaway! I still love her as Princess Mia that’s all so it’s weird seeing her trying to act all tough and, ahem, catty. Everytime they showed her prancing around in her skin tight leather suit and knee high stilleto boots I had to resist the urge to roll my eyes : ) It was a bit unnecessary to me, but I know all the guys loved it so I’ll just stop there.

Bane’s voice was too much. Half deep and growly, half sing-songy, it was kind of hard for me to understand what he was saying most of the time. Gave me a headache to be honest. But with that being said, Tom Hardy did an excellent job acting like a crazy neck snapping killer mastermind with a mask on his face. The showdown between him and Batman in the sewers was hard to watch because he was that vicious.

I liked it!
